Here or There is an easy to use plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro that makes quick work of reordering the clips in your time line. A single click will randomize an entire track’s worth of clips, or just the selected ones. You can toggle the audio linking feature so the sound channels always follow the video, and even set it target specific tracks instead of just V1. However you decide you want to shuffle, every clip lands in a new position on the timeline, and is always back to back with no gaps or changes to a clip’s length.
