Not sure why you all enjoy these BTS shots so much but the engagement analytics don’t lie. Maybe it’s because they remind everyone that the final result is not some fancy magic trick. Either way, here are a few fun ones to whet your appetite.

You know, I’ve never been one to go overboard on tech gadgets or rely on gimmicks when it comes to cinematography. Fundamentals like correct camera placement, composition, and lighting are far more impressive. If the only thing keeping your shot interesting is the petroleum jelly smeared on the lens, or an elaborate backflip camera move… you’ve missed the point. Here are a few examples of how we keep the basics interesting.

I know I said no magic tricks, but the editing suite is where a little sleight of hand is allowed. The catch is none of this works without a lot of forethought. It takes a little imagination to see something that doesn’t exist yet. Experience is what makes everyone else see it too. Abracadabra bitch.

Now we need to talk about distribution, because nowadays content needs to travel down a lot more avenues than it used to.
